During these days of self-isolation, a moment or two may come along when you find yourself at are a complete loss as to what to do Which cupboard next needs your attention, to attack those unsorted photos, which room to paint or does the shed need a lick of that lovely shade of wood stain?
But fear not, look no further, here is a mystery to solve, to occupy that mind for awhile.

Looks like a doctor or chemist - from a glass slide provided by Alan McDowell. Thought to be early to mid 1920s. Anyone know?

An unknown group of Marple Workers, in this photo from Marple Local History Society Archives.

Thought to be at the Goyt Mill - see comment from D Wild. Do you recognise anyone else? The person at the front left looks like my uncle Albert Edward (Ted) Fox, who used to work at the Goyt Mill, so my guess (Mark Whittaker) is that these are workers at the Goyt Mill. David Wild
