Newspaper articles relating to Bobbin Mills :
a. Handwritten extract from the Stockport Advertiser of the 2lst May 1858 p2cl, giving details of Sale of Valuable Freehold Land (4,840 square yards) including works, cottage, blacksmith's shop, stables, shed and other erections in the occupation of Merlin Bradbury situate at Marple. Auction at the Warren Bulkeley Arms Inn, Stockport on 4th June 1858.
b. Handwritten police report from Stockport Advertiser from 1830 in relation to a bobbin maker Joseph Bowden being beaten by his master John Higgenbottom.
c. Photocopy of typed report from Glossop Recorder 1868 of an industrial accident to George Turner, Bobbin Maker who lost his arm working with a circular saw.
