Two original drawings of Compstall War Memorial 1. (28.7.1922) and Revised Design of War Memorial (23.8.1922) by H C Powell, Architect, 9 Albert Square Manchester.
Letter dated Oct 24th 1922 from Compstall Parish Church Council to Mrs Munn, inviting her to the re-opening of the organ at the Church, and also to perform the ceremony of the unveiling of the newly built Cenotaph, on a date close to Armistice Day. This was in recognition of the great interest she had taken in the welfare of fallen soldiers during the War. She had also made generous contributions for which she was thanked.
Letter dated May 7th 1923 from J Swindells to a Mr Powell giving instructions 'Re Compstall' as to the balance of funds.
